INDUCTION PROGRAMME FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS OF FIRST YEAR D.H.M.C.T.

AGNEL INSTITUTE OF FOOD CRAFTS AND CULINARY SCIENCES, VERNA, GOA

 

Agnel Institute of Food Crafts and Culinary Sciences had an induction program for the parents/guardians of the First Year students on 13th July 2024 at 10.30 a.m. The primary objectives of the induction program was to

1. Introduce the mission, vision and values of AIFCCS.

2. Set clear the importance of discipline at AIFCCS at all times.

 3. Provide a detailed overview of the academic and non academic activities held at AIFCCS during the three years.

 4. Familiarize the parents/guardians with the examination process, training and placement activities held during the years.

5. Enlightenment on the other support and guidance offered to students at AIFCCS.

 PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS:

1. Address by Fr. Agnelo Gomes, Director, AIFCCS, ATEC.

2. Address by Alphonso Pereira, Principal, AIFCCS.

 3. Academic and non academic activities at AIFCCS – Address by Class counsellors Ms. Maureen Fernandes and Mr. Rahul Madkaikar

4. Details on theTraining and Placement department – Dr. Harsha Assotikar

5. An overview of the examination process – Mr. Joe Dias

6. Counselling for the students at AIFCCS – Ms. Nisha Gonsalves

7. Q &A session for the concerns of the parents/guardians.

8. Comparing the event & the vote of thanks – Merlyn Braganza
