A Brazilian Culinary Workshop organized by the Lusophone Society of Goa and a German Home Bakery Class organized by Indo German Friendship Society were held on 16th January and 6th February 2020 at Agnel Institute Of Food Crafts And Culinary Sciences, Verna. The workshops were conducted by Chef Bruno Camera and his team from the restaurant “Churrascarai Brazil “( Calangute). The Geman Bakery Class was conducted by German Ladies Ms. Gudula Eisemann and Ms. Magaret Xavier.Both the workshops were attended by about 30 participants
The following items were demonstrated in the Brazilian Culinary Workshop.
1. Arroz Carreteiro ( Brazilian Style Rice)
2. Coxinhas de frango ( Brazilian Chicken Fritters)
3. Bolo de milho molhadinho ( Brazilian Moist Corncakes)
The following items were demonstrated in the German Home Bakery Class
1. Cinnamon Rolls
2. Mango Tart
3. German Cheese Fruit Cake
4. No Knead Bread Rolls.
After the workshop the participants enjoyed the delicacies they prepared with soup and breadsticks in the institute Training Restaurant. The events was coordinated by Chef Maya Da Silva of the Institute
