Brazilian Regional Food Demonstration Class


Lusophone Society of Goa(LSG) and Brazilian Cultural Centre in Goa (BCCG) organised a Brazilian Regional Food Demonstration Class at Agnel Institute of Food Crafts and Culinary Sciences, Verna .


The demonstrations were conducted by a Brazilian lady Fernanda Pereira Figuerio and assisted by their  Society member Maragrete Xavier and faculty member of AIFCCS Maya da Silva.


The course was held on 27th February 2018 from 9.30a.m. to 1.00p.m. and attended by 27 participants.


The following were the items demonstrated

  1. Bolo Pudim (Pudding Layer Cake)
  2. Pao de Mel (Spiced Honey Cake)
  3. Casquinha De Camarao ( Gratinated Prawns Appetizers)
  4. Pamonha Assada ( Baked  Sweet Corn)
  5. Pao De Queijo (Tapioca Cheese Balls)


The event was a success and all the participants learnt new Brazilian dishes which they could then replicate at their home.
